Adoption Process    

We do have a process as we want to ensure that each available dog is matched up with it's perfect family!

STEP ONE: Meet OR pick a dog from our available section.

STEP TWO: Fill out an adoption application - Click the button to the right to begin!

 ***Keep in mind...  Part of the application is that if you rent, you must provide us with verification from their landlord that they are allowed to have the type of pet they are interested in adopting or allowed to have a pet period. Another part of the application process is a letter of reference from their family veterinarian. If in the event they have never owned a pet or their veterinarian is not willing to write a letter of reference, then we will do a home visit.

STEP THREE: After the application and supporting documents are turned in and an adoption is approved, we will  schedule a time for the following:

• Bring existing family dog(s) in for an interact with potential  adoption dog
• Meet with behaviorist to discuss the training and behavior modification process that we have completed etc, or if it is a cat or a bird again this part is most generally not done. 
• Schedule an adoption exit exam so the doctor can go over the medical care we have provided for this particular pet
